According to sources familiar with the matter, zbforums.com has been shut down due to ToS violations.
Blog Updates
It's been a while since our last post from Zack about his departure; however, months later, f2l is still around, alive, and kicking (sort of).
Some of you may have noticed that the site loads faster, thanks to our new web host.
With the change in web hosting, I've also updated wordpress and plugins. Let me know if you see any issues that need to be addressed.
It has been a long time..
Its been a long time since my last post. Sorry about that. I got caught up in school, and a new website that I am working on with a friend. Well I think it is time to make at least one last blog post before F2L either vanishes, or is forgotten.
I thought it was a great run, a lot of fun. From the picking on Dennis, to the other things. I laughed all the way through. I had a great time messing with people, getting people wound up, and causing things that really only I could do.
I think the one highlight of F2L though was when I was blamed for spamming IR just because I used the same proxy that the person did. I laughed so hard my parents thought I was on pot or something. It was a classic moment that should be saved for generations of Zathyus members to come.
truth is, Zathyus is dying. It will dye out sooner than anyone thinks. its too restrictive, and does not allow much change. The Owners are alright, kind of... Incompitant in ways. the things I have talked about with people confirmed it. Ill still be hunting for a fun community to join, well actually Ill be at Rapture alot now, with ZNB closing..

News Flash: ZYNB PR DROPS
I follow the Google PR of some sites closely. I noticed, recently, that ZYNB PR has dropped from a 1 or 2 down to ZERO.
What can be the change in PR? Well a number of things such as quality in bound links, too many out bound links, etc.

Seems like the url structure was corrected or google page rank API was down for a while there. PR is back to normal!
F2l Update
I noticed we've not had very many posts about F2l in general so here is one for the fans. We are doing just fine and have no plans to stop blogging about forums, life, and technology. Now with that out of the way, we need some of your help.
vBulletin Patch: 3.8.6 PL1
For those have not heard yet or cared to look into, IB has released a patch for the vBulletin platform version 3.8.6 which was actually released fairly recently. Who created the vulnerability (bad developer)? You will find more information after the break.

ipbfree.com lives no longer
According to large news sites (like CNN.com) popular free forum host, IPBFREE, has been shut down for unconfirmed reasons.
In addition to the entire IPBfree.com domain being shut down, their Twitter (twitter.com/ipbfree) is no longer occupied.
Like many others, I can only speculate as to what really happened.
